As promised, today EKRA filed in the bankruptcy court an objection to Kodak’s proposal to eliminate health care coverage for those eligible for Medicare who retired after October 1991. In addition, and simultaneously, EKRA filed a Motion for Appointment of a Section 1114 Committee to Represent the Interests of Retirees for negotiation of all benefits.
For your information copies of all motions in the Kodak Bankruptcy case are filed on www.kccllc.com as this is the website of Kurtzman Carson Consultants, the firm that maintains on-line records for the court. For a complete copy of the EKRA motions go here first: http://www.kccllc.net/kodak, then click to the left of that web page where it says, "Court Documents." The court docket number is 580. Or, you can click on the Adobe PDF document below to view it directly:
It is expected that the judge will rule on EKRA’s objection and request for appointment of an 1114 Committee on March 20th. We do not expect anything new to occur between now and March 20th.
We will post a list of FAQ’s for our website in the near future. As always, EKRA continues to advocate for our members’ interests with Kodak, the court, and the government and we thank you for your support.
